Remember when Sony acquired streaming service Gaiki for $380 million back in July? The benefits of that move may finally be coming to fruition with the Playstation 4, as The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the PS4 will be able to stream games to the console.
The ournal reported that the new console will be able to stream a number of games directly to the console, which leads one to wonder if Sony will have some sort of rental program, or perhaps a subscription plan that lets players play a certain number of games for a monthly fee. Whatever Sony has planned, it surely is a step forward in the push to elimate used game sales that publishers are pushing for, as it will give players a virtual library to choose form without having to pay full price or even leave their house.
We’ll know more about this service, if it is indeed part of the new PS4, after the Playstation event in New York City on February 20. Stay tuned to QGN for all the latest details.

This seems like an interesting system to put into consoles especially if they want to eliminate pre-owned games. But personally i like used games to save a few bucks. One thing that confuses me is “stream games” like will it be like a demo where you download and play for x amount of time or will you play straight off the internet.
I was so excited about the Live Steam on this night and the design was not introduced. Until the sale, it must be well maintained somehow exciting.
