No controller support for ESO is a bad choice for Zenimax. I will not play ESO unless I can play it as I do Skyrim on PC, with a 360 controller. I came from the 360 Skyrim to PC after hearing y’all talk about the graphics and mods. The transition for me in controls has been seem less. I HATE!!!!! Keyboard and mouse gameplay. My left hand cramps up using the wasd keys to move.
If Zenimax wants to capitalize on the downfall of consoles being static in performance while PC gaming continues to evolve, they should really reconsider, and add in controller support for ESO. The more play styles they can accommodate for, the more players/subscribers they will reach.
I told my cousin today about this. He is super excited about ESO. So much so that he is building his first gaming PC just to play ESO. He’s a hardcore 360 gamer. His immediate response to no controller support was “@#$% THAT!!!!” He now refuses to play ESO if the only control style is keyboard/mouse.
I will attempt to adapt, but it will ruin my experience. I do not want to play keyboard/mouse. Only reason I am willing to play Skyrim on PC is that I can use a 360 controller. If that option wasn’t there, I’d be on my 360 playing Skyrim there, despite the crappy graphics.
Great show as always.
Sincerely,
RTEK
